Abstinence
We practice abstinence by not incurring unsecured debt one day at a time. Unsecured debt is any debt that is not backed up by some form of collateral, such as a car, house, etc.[from "The Tools of Debtors Anonymous"]
Suggested Requirements for Meeting Positions
These are SCDA recommendations only.For meeting Secretary, Treasurer, Literature and Intergroup Representative:
90 days abstinence
2 pressure relief group (PRG) meetings
For meeting General Service Representative (GSR):
6 months abstinence
2 pressure relief group (PRG) meetings
