SDCA Recomendations for Service Requirements for DA Meeting Service Positions

These are SCDA recommendations only. As stated in the 4th tradition: "each group should be autonomous except in matters affecting other groups or DA as a whole" [from "Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions"]

For meeting Secretary, Treasurer, Literature Person and Intergroup Representative:

• 90 days abstinence
• 2 pressure relief group (PRG) meetings

For meeting General Service Representative (GSR):

• 6 months abstinence
• 2 pressure relief group (PRG) meetings

Abstinence: We practice abstinence by not incurring unsecured debt one day at a time. Unsecured debt is any debt that is not backed up by some form of collateral, such as a car, house, etc. [from "The Tools of Debtors Anonymous"]
