Quicken, QuickBooks & Excel Workshop!

Please be on time!

This a back-to-basics numbers workshop based on the DA Numbers Booklet.

We will open with a general session describing the differences between Quicken*, QuickBooks* and Excel* and then divide into 3 separate breakout sessions that will focus on one individual software.

You do not need to bring a laptop.  You do not need to own the software in order to attend.

Handouts will be provided. Pen and paper for note taking is just fine.

• If you are considering buying an accounting program, this workshop is for you.

• If you already own software, but would like to base your current numbers on the DA Numbers book, this workshop is for you.

• If you want fellowship and support with keeping your numbers, this workshop is for you.

• If you want financial clarity, this workshop is for you.

Holiday Tips & Literature Study Workshop!

Workshop 1:00 - 4:00 pm

This doubleheader-workshop covers 2 topics.

Topic #1 includes:

- How to create a gift giving spending plan

- How to get support around the spending plan you create

- Creating a travel budget plan

- Keeping your numbers while away from home

- Phone meetings and other ways to “plan your fellowship” before you head out of town.

- Alternative gift ideas

Topic #2 includes:

- Literature study of DA’s own “Currency of Hope” book.

- A discussion with one of the book’s authors about his own recovery

- We will spend some time writing our own Currency of Hope story so that we may see how far we have actually come in our own recovery.
